Composing A Proper Argumentative Essay Without Effort

If you have been assigned to compose an argumentative essay, you may find the following pieces of advice quite useful for effortless writing.

  1. Start by choosing a good topic.
  2. It is very important to know what you want to write about. If you are not given a particular topic, or even an area that you should research, you will need to apply some effort to the process of choosing a topic. To begin with, you need to choose a broad area that is interesting to you, and then you need to determine the more specific topic that will determine the essence of your work.

  3. Do some brainstorming.
  4. Think carefully over the language that you are going to use in your paper. You need to sound persuasive, using not only well-formed arguments, but also suitable words. Try to use unusual, but also bright and expressive words.

  5. Develop your own point of view.
  6. This is the key idea of the whole argumentative essay, and the best strategy for choosing a suitable topic. If you choose an area or subject that is not interesting to you, or one that you know nothing about, you will hardly be able to build up a strong argumentative paper.

  7. Pay attention to the persuasion and arguments.
  8. You need to confirm your point of view with statistical data or information from reliable reference sources. That is why you need to make sure that you can find at least three reliable sources for the topic that you have chosen.

  9. Compose a detailed outline of the paper.
  10. A detailed outline will help you place all of your paper’s points in a logical order. You will not forget to mention important details, and all your arguments will follow each other logically, not randomly.

  11. Leave the intro and conclusions for later.
  12. You should never start by writing the intro. The introductory and concluding paragraphs should be written only after you are through with the body paragraphs. However, before you start writing, you need to have a draft of your goals, just to stay focused.

  13. Don’t be afraid of the mess in the draft copy.
  14. While you are writing a draft, you should not worry about the mistakes you make, or the mess that appears on its own during the process. If you can get through this mess and turn it into a nice paper, it’s not a problem.
